New stickers & prints!

New prints and stickers I made for Finncon and also Ropecon ! 

Finncon is already this week! I've got a table for the whole weekend, starting on Friday. No entrance fee, either so it is easy to come and try to find me there, and there's a lot to find! A little drawing I did inspired by our game of #forbiddenlands where elves have a gem at their core, making them basically immortal as they can regenerate their fleshy parts as long as the gem stays intact :D

Comic Fury updates make it to page 100

 Another 10 pages of Avarnight has landed in comic Fury in the past two weeks! We made it to the triple digits!

 This week I wanted to show a comparison between the 2011 version above the current 2024 version of the scene. i'm surprised at how much I like the old version still, the land of Avardark is quite different there...

 Page 134 has our crew partaking in supper, yet Maive does not seem to be enjoying her evening stew... BUT I'm happy I was rather nicely on schedule with this page, and I'll begin the next one right away so there won't be any summer hicups hopefully!

Speaking of summer, I'll have a table at Finncon in Turku for the whole weekend and also a table at Ropecon on Sunday! AND the biggest news is we also got a Friday slot at the tent at the yard of Tracon! So you can find us there too! I'm so happy we got in with Rikkisu and Alxeandros! Yay! 

More info on those later, nothing's planned for June so I'll have plenty of time to draw, at least I hope... . . . .

Wood Elf Esteem

 

Wood Elf Esteem is finally ready! I'm sorry for the wait! 💦 I'm really embarrassed this took so long, especially since, in the end, wood elves are my fav kind of elf, too!!! Best for the last etc.

I'll make stickers and stuff for both Ropecon and Finncon, as I seem to have gotten a table at both!

And so! We are back in Hojuk and back in the daily life of Adal, Maive and Derel. Everyone with their own epic quests to fulfil! The first one is: dinner. . ...and some secret quests we'll get into in a bit!

...and lastly, just a little bit of whining: this page was a struggle. Just as I started this page I found out the pencil lead that I've been using to draw for like 20 years has been discontinued (I hadn't been able to buy it for 6 months at least, but I got confirmation finally on the matter). It's so disheartening. 

I tried another for this one, even though I've got a little bit of the good one left, and it was an absolute nightmare to try and draw with this brand of lead at least. I ordered some other online and hope one of them is at least adequate. :'''( Wish me luck!

 It's such a strange feeling, losing something that's just been a quiet pillar of your creation for decades and suddenly it's just gone...

As I was colouring this page I realised these two panels... They're just me whenever I come home from anywhere xD I mean we all put ourselves in our characters, but the older I get the more I feel Nargwhanal in my bones. Which is kind of sad, since they are just at the cusp of adulthood, a time when you're supposed to be full of vigour... I'm sorry Narya, I love you lots, that's why you suffer.

TAIVAAN PILARIT 3 / The Pillars of Heaven 3

 

Taivaan pilarit 3 aka The Pillars of Heaven pt 3 is done! Or at least it is printed! I still have to bind the booklets together, but there's no mistakes in the printing, so I can breathe a huge sigh of relief! Thirty pages in two directions.

 This long overdue installment of the series will be available in Tampere kuplii on Pienlehtimarssi on SUNDAY THE 29TH ONLY! we'll only be there one day this year! Please come get yours there if you want one UwU

I spent the last days of Elfbruary sick with a cold :'< So, this was as far as I got with my last sketch, which was going to be of my Eldar Corsair Shiranui from a long running Rogue Trader campaign...

Romantic Valentine Elfbruary posting

 

With a fateful perfection for Valentine's day I rolled up my most romantic of elven lovers I have probably ever dreamt up (and these two did indeed come to me in a dream) for today's Elfbruary picture! 

You see, nasty GW and especially the company who made Warhammer Online never gave me metal bikini elf boys, so I had to come up with them myself! >:I The dreamt went about like so: a bridegroom of Khaine could never be together with a sorcerer, unless they burnt the whole world and all the meddlesome gods of both elves and chaos to ashes, and they did, hehe

Lusiphur, my beloved...

My elfbruary continues with my first fan art of the month!

Here's Lusiphur from Poison elves, one of the comics that was really formative for me as a lonely elf-fanatic in the 90s. It's so edgy, so 90s and so hetero that I probably cannot heartily recommend it to everyone anymore, but for me it was a real inspiration when growing up. And I still love it!!!

 Funny how I've never before this sketch drawn fan art of Lusiphur! This also became a style study as I never draw hair as one black mass, and I wanted to try it out for once to see how it feels... It was quick to do, I can give it that!

Also, love love love those incredibly long elf hears Drew Hayes did. Mad respect.

Sadh Kijraen collage for Elfbruary

 

I'm busy with trying to get the next page of Paths of Avarnight done, so no new sketch to day for £elfbruary, but a little showcase of one of the elves in that comic!

Sadh Kijraen has been in the story from its early iterations, here are version of them from 2011, 2016, 2023 and 2025! Their name has changed, and the side the eyepatch on too, because I'm an idiot and can't remember stuff like this :''''D 

Kijraen always gets the shortest end of the stick in all scenes, because I'm always forced to shorten everything to make the story progress... So they end up being just this constantly angry barker of orders to Maru & Narya. I wish I could treat you better Kij, you deserve it...

Eledras the Wanderer

 

Second #elfbruary sketch done!

This is Gim's partner in crime Eledras the wanderer on my solo-DCC campaign in Arden Vul. A much more warlike wood elf who would love to be the strong silent type himself, but instead gets critical pants malfunctions at the worst possible times like fighting frog demons. Poor guy. He has an albino falcon familiar called Griffith, hehe.

I also love that I rolled all their colouring randomly and got a really pale elf and a really dark elf, with a white falcon, too! Let's see what kind of a combo I end up with when i'll need to roll up a third elf for the campaign!

I really like these new paints I've got, and hopefully I an keep practising with them in the next one! Shared also here is the prompt list I made for myself for fun.

Elfbruary begins~

Happy #Elfbruary2026 !

I'm going to spend my Elfbruary trying out some new paints I bought and rolling on a random list of elves I made to see who I will try them on! 

First up is gimladen the Grey a wood elf in service of Yggddrrlll in my own solo DCC campaign of purging Arden Vul. He lost his eye while being torn to shreds by a pack of albino baboons one fateful night, and all those scars. He basically died, but was turned over successfully so I didn't lose him ;;w;;

 Gim is the strong silent type and his magic is immensely potent. He has saved his good friend Eledras quite a few times with it!

Speaking of which, I was also a bit too optimistic and put a lot of couples/doubles on the list and I already realised I'm way too slow to to do two characters in one day... You'll meet Eledras in the next sketch.

I'll keep my Elfbruary to one sketch per day at maximum, and probably no sketches on a lot of days thanks to everything I've got going on >_<
