Summer went by so fast and now it's Ropecon season already! Me,Rikkisu and Alexandros are sharing table number E207 at the artist market area ON SUNDAY ONLY! Please come say hi :3

See the megalomaniac full list of sellers here!

New stickers & prints!

New prints and stickers I made for Finncon and also Ropecon !

Finncon is already this week! I've got a table for the whole weekend, starting on Friday. No entrance fee, either so it is easy to come and try to find me there, and there's a lot to find! My table will be in the main building, first floor! There should be a map upcoming, but I couldn't fin it just yet. See their web page for more info: https://2026.finncon.org/

Ropecon is still a bit further away, but I'll be sharing a table at the market with rikkisu and Alexandros ON SUNDAY ONLY! The rest of the con will be for rpging :3

Ropecon 2025!

Oops I almost forgot to post this!

Ropecon is already next week!!! I'm so excited! We're going to be sharing a table with @kaarinart_ at the Taiteilijatori in hall 6,  ON FRIDAY ONLY! It's open 15-21 The rest of the con I'm going to play roleplaying games UwU

...the hall is just so huge I'm going to die xDdd

New shiny, sparkly Nat30 sticker is ready to roll in Ropecon! Why settle for a Nat20 when you can roll a Nat30, in one of my fav rpg systems Dungeon Crawl Classics or DCC for short hehe! Suitable also for trad DnD players who want to make their d20s jealous UwU (maybe they'll roll more crits, who knows)

Post-Ropecon void....

Thank you Ropecon!! I had such a good time even if I was dead tired from the get go x€ thank you everyone who visited our table, my tablemates and sorry to everyone I didn't have the time to chat with as much as I would've liked...

Pictured here is my half elven barbarian Nanco who I created for a one shot we played on Saturday! I really liked his concept and the fact he accidentally got 16 on charisma. Too bad everything went poorly for him in the actual game :"""( at least he survived though... Poor Nanco... I've posted a coloured version on Cara , so if you're interested in him in full colour have a peek! I do hope I get to use him at some point again...

and a bonus Homer from the balcony patiently waiting for the sun to hit :D

Page 97~

Here’s the first page of the month! Read it in either Tapas or Webtoons  :3

Narya’s venture back into their homeland continues, but not all looks to be the same as before, at least to their eyes!

…and I do hope I manage to get the second one done this month too xD I’ve been so proud of myself, keeping up the bimonthly updates for half a year now, but this end of the month and whole of next month are so jam packed with stuff I’m anxious if I’ll be able to get everything done ;;;;;; I will keep doing my best!!!1

Speaking of being busy, I will be sharing table number B74 at Ropecon trade hall next weekend with my friends Rikkisu and Chika ! I’m going to be there for the whole weekend too! I’ll post a map soon, as the trade hall is bigger than ever before!

Ko-Fi shop updated!

Thank you again to everyone who visited our table in Desucon last weekend! I have finally gathered my wits enough to have been able to update leftover products to my Ko-Fi shop.  Please have a look, if you're unable to attend Ropecon (whole weekend), Helsingin Sarjakuvafestivaalit (whole weekend) and Tracon (Taidepolku, Sunday only), which will be my next three confirmed events ^-^

Ropecon is almost here!

It's probably my favourite time of the year, Ropecon time! This year around I'm back there as an artist too :D

Me & Rikkisu share a table at the Artists' Market on Friday, and Friday only, it being the 28th of July. The Trade Hall is open 15-21 on that day!

We both also have a few pieces up on display at the Art show, which is situated in the same hall but at the opposite end of it. These will be on display the whole weekend so you can enjoy our presence even without the table :D

Now I just need to frame the pieces....

A new page incoming...

 Slowly but surely

As a general announcement, I have three upcoming events!

1st: Finncon on Sunday 9.7. in Tampere University! The alley is open 10-17, no entrance fee

2nd: Ropecon on Friday 28.7. at Messukeskus in Helsinki! The Alley will be open 15-21, there will also be an entrance fee!

3rd: Zine Fest @ Helsingin Sarjakuvafestivaalit in Korjaamo, Töölö Sunday 17.9.!

I have new stuff upcoming to most of them so stay tuned :D

Thank you Ropecon & Sweet Dreams!

Hello my lovelies! My art booklet Kauniita unia - Sweet Dreams is finally done and published! Here's a few sample images:

Ropecon was the premiere for this new booklet and here's a few pics from there!

Thank you everyone who visited our table! We had an amazing weekend and it was not only due to the ventilation in Messukeskus (though it helped xD)
Next I will re-setup a webshop to sell the Sweet Dreams booklet! Stay tuned!

14th page - into the dark we go

Despite everything, I managed to finish another page, and FINALLY we get some pointy ears! I had to live without them for like... 10 pages or something, whew.

Read the latest page here

p.s. I will have something exciting to share with you all for Ropecon, soon~~~

Hello?

Sorry for dropping off the face of the Earth for a bit there… I think my seven years in the university (while wroking and doing art) and another teaching, working and trying to art finally caught up with me and I’ve spent majority of my June sleeping xD and taking care of this monster kitty boy, who is ever so eager to help whenever I’ve actually tried to draw xD
I’m currently working on a secret bonus pic that will be a part of an art booklet I hope to finish by Ropecon and drawing the 13th page of Paths with a veritably glacial pace. I hope you can forgive me for being slow for a bit, I’ve never felt this old 🖤

Thank you Ropecon!

Thank you everyone who visited our table! I'm sorry I was so out of it, but this heat makes it very hard for me to sleep :'0  Hope everyone had a good time ^^

Next up is Zine Fest in September!

Post-Ropecon & Tictail

Hello everyone, and thank you for an amazing Ropecon!
I got a lot of questions about getting my stuff online from somewhere, so in the case some people who took my card end up in here, then here is my Tictail shop:

Riiight here~

I will also research the cheapest possible way to send out the new big prints, since a few people inquired about that, too. I’ll let you all know when I add them to the shop!

Oh yeah, AND! I forgot to mention, but Worldcon, is on next week’s weekend! I will be there on the Creator’s Alley from Friday to Sunday, and what is more, you don’t need a membership to enter the hall where the alley & traders are! Anyone can come! Yay :D Come say hi if you are around!

A batch of scroll-prints

I made a batch of huge prints for Ropecon and Worldcon! People have been asking for these, so I shall deliver!
They are 60 cm high, except Laughter who is a tiny 55 cm~ The width varies a bit from piece to piece. As a bonus there's an A4 sized mini-Ninavel for scale. There's small and big prints of all these other darlings, too!

And! It seems like people can visit the creator's alley of Worldcon even without having the membership to the event! So if you want to come and say hi to me there, I'll be having a table with Pihlajatar from Friday to Sunday ^^

Some sketches

I've been role-playing and doodling quite a lot during this summer! Here are some of the silly doodles I sketch while we've been playing~

Upper left corner has my new Eldar Corsair character from a Rogue Trader campaign, Shiranui Chitaira. Beneath him is me brand new jackdaw bard-boy Kurama and his best pals Dr. Mlemmiwinks a doge cleric and Uss aka Lord Hissington, a yuan-ti fighter. The whole campaign is just a clusterfuck of tomfoolery and idiocy, and I love it to bits!

Upper right corner has Marune from my comic, I'm trying redesign their face, for they have a set of horns on their head and I can't get them to work like I want to. Still, I think this is a pretty nice picture of them. And below is my hissymissy-Severan being the angry young man he is.

I've got some new prints coming up for Ropecon & Worldcon, stay tuned for them~~ In the meanwhile, you can always visit my Tictail or Redbubble to acquire some art!

A tiny sneak peek~

I have a new big piece in the works, this time two lovelies instead of just one. This is supposed to be a depiction of a mythical calamity that befell the immortal folk of my world, two mighty warriors brought low by greed and pride... But I think they look more like courtesans than warriors. Oh well, whatever rocks my boat I guess~

With this final piece I am preparing for a batch of bigger prints, which will, if all goes  as I've planned, be available in Ropecon. Please look forward to that!

Spring and Summer Annoucements

First of all, my seminar paper is done and submitted for reviewing! Yay! Now there’s like a week of fooling around before all that other shit I need to get done.

So, I started drawing Severan and Ananthe, my two rather new characters from an original setting of mine. Severan is a young, brazen (read: stupid) and moody meat-eater elf , with a bit of cat in his blood. He is also a reiteration of my old Dark Heresy character, but way less like Kanda. Like totes.
Ananthe (right in the picture) is far older and wiser, half and half of a regular elf and a meat-eater elf. He and Severan have a complicated relationship which has a lot of Ananthe being pretty fed up with Severan’s bullshit, like in this picture.

Then, for the summer~ I will be attending several events this summer!

• I will try my wings at a new event, the Dark Market of Lumous Gothic Festival on the 15th of July in Tampere! There's no entrance fee to this event, so if you're in Tampere come say hi to me~
• Then there's of course the course on Manga I will be teaching in Joutseno straight after Lumous.
• I've also booked a table from Ropecon (28th-30th July, Helsinki) this year too, so you will find me in the dealers' den, again!
• Me and my partner in crime, Pihlajatar, also got a table from Creators' Alley in Worldcon 9th-13th of August

So far these are the confirmed events that I will be attending, I'll keep you posted about new ones as I confirm participation~

Don't forget that next weekend I will be in the Comics festival of Stockholm! If you happen to be there, do come say hi ^^

AND, my exhibition is open until 17th of May, so five days left if you want to see it! Thank you all who have already visited the exhibition, I loved reading the guestbook when I popped in last week!

Thank you again Ropecon!

Thank you all who came to see me, it was very nice chatting with all of you! I had a great con over all, even though having a table all alone made it impossible to go see any programs, and there was a ton of interesting stuff going on... Oh well, at least we managed our traditional Saturday-.night rpg after the Vendors' Hall closed!

I also participated in the artshow this year and won a honorary mention! I'm so grateful to all who voted! The works were very good this year, too!

Ropecon begins today!

As this is my first time as a "regular seller" in a big convention I decided to step up my game and got an iZettle! We've tested it and it works just fine and dandy! Let's hope it keeps on doing that for the whole weekend.

So, come and find me in the Myyntisali of Ropecon in Halli 5 today from 15 to 21 tomorrow from 10-18 and on Sunday 10-15! More information of the seller's area ~here~. Ropecon has a ton of cool stuff this year too, so everyone should definitely come! We're going to play some really bad Dungeons and Dragons during the nigh on Saturday so I might be a tad wane on Sunday.

I unfortunately didn't have the time to finish a friend for Laughter, but the pal will be done for the next con, I'm sure! But in the meantime, here's a few closeups of Laughter themself~

Laughter & Feathers

Laughter; pencil, felt-tip pen, ink, watercolour & Painttool SAI, 2016

It all started very innocently with me thinking that maybe I should make a few new bookmarks for Ropecon; and ended up with some next level hairporn & feathers of Laughter, a character from that old comic of mine, and who is properly introduced here. I like Laughter lots and lots, they are all shenaningans and games, toying with the rigid rulers of Shindran realms, causing havoc and mayhem here and there (but only to the olden rules, not violence).
I loved inking the feathers, and would like to make a friend for this darling, but let us see if I manage it before Ropecon. But think of peacocks, next.
