Flashback to 2004!

 Yesterday’s glow up challenge made me realise my oldest characters Mitral aka. Maive and Nargwhanal aka. Narya are both turning 20 years old next year ;;0;; this is crazy…. 20 years… I’ve got to celebrate this next year in as many ways as possible xD this is foreboding… I mean foreshadowing 💦

Oh and Adal is from 2009 and Marune from 2007! Their time will come too >:D

In the Shadows

 Time for another Throwback Thursday :D Here's a scene I've done in 2009 (twice!), 2015 and finally last year in Paths of Avarnight! 

 

What can I say, I've always liked this scene, ever since the day the earliest version of this story came to be. The story has changed quite a bit from the earliest days xD Soon we might be seeing what is going on in the troubled life of this poor soul after this fateful meeting~~

Latetober doodle

Inktober came and went but I still wanted to try and doodle up a Nargwhanal to pair with the Mitral I made earlier (and a worried Marune)
Not super happy about how this came out but in the spirit of inktober I will upload this anyway <:D this was a strict 1 hour doodle. I ranoutoftime xD

 Nargwhanal is an old character of mine from That Comic, but normally there’s actual skin and bones on this shindran darling~
If all goes well you’ll be able to see for yourself this autumn, but before that there will be bookmarks for Tampere kuplii! See you there :D

 I couldn’t NOT draw even if the thesis does take the majority of my time. I wanted to make this skeletally pretty Nargwhanal as a bookmark for Tampere Kuplii 💖

I am sorry, this blog gets forgotten rather often since it is the only place I can't update from my phone, nor do I get daily notifications about activity there like with Tumblr or Instagram, for example. So if you really want to stay on top of things with my life and art I recommend finding me on some social media platform, links are to the right~
 But I will keep updating this blog too, only a little more irregularly!

 Firstly, I thank all who came to see us in Finncon! We had a great time there and I hope you all had too! I hope Worldcon will have an artists alley too, but I'll be there whether or not there's an alley. The ticket's bought already~

I've also received a blessing of temporary cats for a part of July~ Pilli seems to think I have better uses for my hands than drawing, though. But despite her best efforts at getting me to do what I am supposed to be doing, I've also been drawing! I got this huge inspiration for new shenanigans for Ropecon! I'll keep you posted, so stay alert! Nyehehe

A quick announcement, my lovelies!

 Almost a week late but I've been sick AND busy, and I apologise.

I will be attending this year's Small Press Heaven with the lovely Viivi Rintanen & Miissa Rantanen with amazing comics (check their pages)! There’ll be a smaller selection of stuff, mostly these newer babies!

My another very, very old character, Nargwhanal. This is an overdramatisation of a scene from That Comic I Used To Draw, maybe someday you will all  see what actually happens.

Nargwhanal

Trying to redesign Nargwhanal, one of the main characters in That Comic I Used to Draw. A sickly little princeling of the Shindran realm, prone to dizzy spells, bruising for no apparent reason and pains that keep one bedridden for many spans. In the barren, black wasteland that is their realm, such physical weaknesses are not a desirable traits in a direct descendant of the pact with Living Darkness.

Also Nargwhanal is a completely and desperately undrawable bastard. No matter what I do, it never comes out right :’> Plus I need better paper for painting
