The Day After

As my comic work is winding down, I need to start worrying about graduating from University. I’m supposed to be doing research for my seminar work, but instead. Instead I started writing a short story about a meat eating nightcrawly elf having a serious case of blood orgy hangover. Whats-more I did a fucking painting of him, too :’D My thesis is so fucked.

 This is known as the Hangover of Severan, or in Finnish “Severanin darrapäivä”

pps. Some of you might've noticed that he shares a name with my former rpg-character. He is a spiritual descendant of my assassin-acolyte, but reimagined in the setting of the City of Cities, where meat eating elves roam, among other things

I’m sure pictures of my palette only amuse me, but things got so cosmic I decided to share.
 I love painting with watercolours! There was a few year break when I didn’t really paint at all, but now I’m getting my share of painting with the comic.

Art Summary 2016

 I decided to finally make a summary of my own too, since it has been a productive year for me. Though, far from the level of productivity I would like to reach. A proper piece for each month would be so nice, here we still have a lot of silly little doodles for many months. Well, let’s see how it goes next year!

Ateneum & update

 I apologise for my silence here in the blog, trying to scrape up the last remaining courses for graduation is time consuming work, I'm afraid. Soon, things will let down a bit and I'll hopefully have time to draw & paint again... Never give up hope!

 Even if things have been rather hectic, I still sneaked out to see the Japanomania exhibition in Ateneum Art Museum the other day~ There was a place for doing water paintings, and the exhibition wasn't half bad either!

Looks like ink, yet it is not.

For alley news I can reveal that I'll be attending the artists' alleys of both Desucon and Finncon! I'll keep you posted on the details and all the new stuff I might conjure up for them~

Working on new stuff

A few small sketches of characters in my next comic project~ and the colourful one is a npc from a Storium game I’m narrating. Storium is funner than fun, I can definitely recommend checking it out!But our game is private unfortunately :(
