Darkness between the stars – therein lie voids immeasurable. Ceaseless. An insurmountable boundary, within which, beyond which, fans out the Web of Heaven. Guardian? Ward? Or just a stray in the emptiness beyond all paths?

Aoquaith Bithondan

A watercolour sketch of maybe Aoquaith, who would be the mythical founder of the Shindran realm. An ancient feleth who lost their way quite completely and succesfully and stumbled upon a realm of quiet, dry death. And then decided to try an revive it. Nargwhanal’s distant ancestor. Also Varaith’s not-as-distant ancestor. Which is a source of endless dispute between the respectable clans of Bithondan and Thonsyar.

 With this I'd like to wish a very happy and prosperous New Year to all my followers! You are all the best! 2015 was a good year, let's hope 2016 will be even better.

Schoolwork

I'm doing a presentation on Amano Yoshitaka for Japanese class, but researching his art just makes me want to draw so bad... And draw I did. (I just hope my doodles would suffice as the presentation...)

So, have a very sketchy ode to Amano in the form of Shiranui of draconian descent (not all that distantly related to Varaith)  seducing an ancestor of Nargwhanal, Thiervain, in the somewhat ancient past of my world.

It ended badly, it always does.
