 ...slowly but surely xD I've been able to ink some pages here and there during the last week, and I finally dare to feel a little bit hopeful about maybe getting this done by Helsinki Comic festival in September;;;;;

The Pillars of Heaven part 3 is progressing quite nicely during my two week unpaid leave I took from work to work on this project! Despite me also getting sick in the middle of it, but then I got better :D

I’m starting to feel a little hopeful I might somehow get this whole thing done in time for Autumn’s Comic Festival ;;;; Wish me luck

I’m sorry for the wait, I’ve just been so busy you wouldn’t even believe… Anyway! This is a prime chance to obtain this little book, or both of the Pillars, if you haven’t yet! There’s no postage, not even internationally, since I’m sending them as regular letters! I’ll even slip a little bonus into all orders done before the end of 5th of October (of my timezone) <:D

Kiertyviä maailmoja - Spiraling worlds

I have an exhibition coming up in September! Yey!

Unlike last time, this will be a general overview of all the comics I’ve done in the past… almost a decade, so there will be a lot of stuff on display!

The Exhibition is in Galleria Salmi at the Laajasalo library, in Eastern Helsinki. My exhibition starts on the 2nd of September and lasts until the 29th. It will be open during the opening hours of the library, which are 8-20 Monday to Thursday 8-16 on Fridays and 10-16 on Saturdays!

I just managed to frame the last piece, so I’m feeling confident about this thing actually happening xD

I will also be attending Helsinki Comic festival’s Zine Fest on SUNDAY the 17th of September! Comic Festival is at Korjaamo in Töölö this year, and if everything goes according to my keikaku, there will be a second installment of The Pillars of Heaven available too! A few originals of it will be on display at the exhibition so you will get a sneak peek ;D

 I've been drawing like crazy for the past few weeks and The Pillars of Heaven 2 is coming along nicely! 

The Pillars returns

 Yush, I'm trying my darnest to get a new instalment of The Pillars of Heaven done by Zine Fest!

The lonesome duo of Pillars of Heaven makes an appearance, in full colour!

 I mean I've been working on this over a month and I still can't decide a proper name for it. But now I've got to let it go, since otherwise I'll just keep at it for the rest of the year...

But here they are, my two creatures, who will hopefully have another zine of them published in Zine Fest in September! Wish me luck x')

In other news, Ropecon is this week! Me & Rikkisu, we have a table on Friday at the Artists' Market, so if you're around come say hi ^-^

Tiny lil' accordion book

Taivaan pilarit 1. aka. The Pillars of Heaven 1. is done and folded :D

This is a 12 page accordion book comic set in the same world as Paths of Avarnight, but separate enough that you don't need any prior knowledge of the story to read this!

The comic is black and white, texts in Finnish and English.

This will of course also be available at our table in Zine Fest next Saturday! Afterwards, I'll see if I can make it available internationally too ^^
