When a librarian has a day off finally...

 My June of elves continues with this piece I made of my cat-elf librarian Mizane having a day off from work as the head librarian and basically the sole worker of the Sudensurman solan sivukirjasto. He got so excited to have a stroll around the city with his new friend Severan (whose first meeting of Mizane is depicted in that other Mizane piece from a few years ago xD) he put on his best gear to show around town. And of course he gets distracted by books : D

I would love to make a real comic about these lovely cat-elves, but when will I have the time…

Also there was a Mizane fan visiting our table at Hypecon! If you see this let me thank you again! It just really made my whole year to learn that someone out there remembers Mizane from the previous pieces I have done! Thank you ;;0;;

In the Library

"Dear Customer, the books You're trying to return are over a year late, I am afraid a substantial fine is in order"

Aka. Day in the life of Severan the meat eater cat-elf aka. When your boss/ex forces you to return his books to the library.

This was supposed to be a self-indulgent little thing for my New Years, and, oh wow is it April already? xD

The golden haired one is Mizane the librarian, if anyone remembers him anymore. He's a cat elf too, so they can both bond over their tragic cat-elf childhoods after Severan is done paying Ananthe's library fines. Don't worry they actually do get along rather well after this first meeting.

Sigh I wish I'll one day have time to write&draw this story too, but I probably won't ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Doodling cat-elves

I haven’t been able to draw much after finally finishing that comic. Just too tired, and busy with trying to graduate as quickly as possible.

But a fun little event of male beauty by the name Magic Meat March over in Tumblr was too good of an excuse to doodle my very emancipated half-elf half-cat equal parts sexy and awesome stripper-librarian darling Mizane. I even googled for sexy librarian poses but ended up doing almost exactly the same pose I originally did of him by accident – or just sheer exhaustion…

Enjoy this half an hour doodle of him, and let's hope I get myself back in the game next month. I am thinking of drawing my next mini-comic about him, though~

Mizane the Librarian

I was casually flipping through and old sketch book and stumbled upon this old sketch, then realising I had never properly scanned and posted it anywhere! So I did, and in the process added some colour to the background which I found to be just a tad too bland for my tastes.

 The magnificent beast in question is Mizane, the offspring of a star crossed romance between a cat who fell in love with an elf. The parents were very happy for a time, but poor Mizane was bullied and hated all over elfdom for his mixed heritage. But with unwavering determination he overcame all who tried to hurt him and became a venerated librarian, finally rising to a position of head librarian in a small, remote side library full of old and valuable tomes.
 He is also just about as outrageous as is his sense of fashion. Truly a wonderful piece of booty! I hope I'll one day be able to do a little comic about him!

ps. I also added it to my Redbubble, since don't we all need a bunch of stuff with cat-elf stripper-librarians on them?
