Hello my lovelies! My art booklet Kauniita unia - Sweet Dreams is finally done and published! Here's a few sample images:

Ropecon was the premiere for this new booklet and here's a few pics from there!

Thank you everyone who visited our table! We had an amazing weekend and it was not only due to the ventilation in Messukeskus (though it helped xD)
 Next I will re-setup a webshop to sell the Sweet Dreams booklet! Stay tuned!

Comic updates

Greetings from the comic lair! I caught a hideous cold, which has hindered my progress a bit, but I’m sure we will see at least a little something at Tampere Kuplii 2019
 I will be there the whole weekend this time and can be found on table number 5 ^^
Homer has luckily been there for me throughout this trying time, mainly sleeping on top of me.

Yesterday was Yukicon 2019 times, thank you everyone who visited our table ^^ Sorry I was so out of it, Homer decided to be a normal cat and didn't let me sleep the night before :'D I was so tired. I'm sure it was his way of avenging those embarrassing stickers I made of him.
Next up is Tampere Kuplii in a few weeks, I’m going to work my hardest to finally get a bit of comic coming your way!

The Helsinki Book Fair

I will be sharing a table with the fantastic Metalmiku & Rikkisu in the Helsinki Book Fair and more specifically in the booth of Finnish Comics Society (6G2) next Sunday (the 28th)!
We’re under the collective name of Mi・Ha・Ri 🖤 Come say hi to us if you’re visiting the fair on that day! ^^ Here’s the link to the facebook event! They have a lot of stuff for each day, so it is well worth checking out!

Thank you everyone who visited our huge table, and a special thanks to the arrangers! Å-Fest surprised me with its warm atmosphere and good times! Porvoo is such a nice place ^^

 Tomorrow I fly to Denmark for two weeks so this blog will probably tone done very much for that time, but I will probably post some pictures of my trip to my other social media accounts, like Instagram. So follow me there if you haven't already ;D

Å-Fest and some really old art

Visited home last weekend, and there I have all of my old, old art school paintings and such stored. There I painted a lot of things but my favorite is a narrative pentatych 140cm high and 160 cm wide when opened. It is hands on the biggest piece I’ve ever done! This is a detail of the biggest, central piece.
I made it in the vein of medieval altarpieces, with doors and all. It tells the tale of my main char for life Mitral 💖

ALSO! I'll be in Å-Fest this weekend! It is a small comic festival in Porvoo! So, if you happen to be around there, do come say hi ^^

Caterpillar Boy of Book-loving

When I was still young, (and so was the Internet), there were a lot of insanely cute and slightly disturbing caterpillar boys in the dark corners of the web that I hung out in. I loved them. I still do, but haven’t seen any in a long, long time.  Maybe there is still a caterpillar boy nook out there somewhere, that I just don’t know about…   /sigh

Anyway, this book loving little fella is also going to be a bookmark, that I will be selling in Desucon Frostbite in Lahti, Finland, this weekend! So, if you’re around, do come say hi, I have tons of other stuff too. I’ll be there on both Saturday and Sunday, as I am not on the Artists’ Alley, but in the Trade Hall (which are both conveniently in the same hall, actually).
 And for all of you internationals, who can't be in Lahti, I also slapped him to my Redbubble Shoppe!

New Postcards!

I've got a new batch of postcards hot out of the printing machine and ready for Desucon Frostbite! I will be sharing a table with a few friends in the Trade Hall, therefore, I will be there on both Saturday and Sunday. I'll have more goodies ready for the event, too, so stay tuned~
 And of course, I will have all of my oldies goldies with me; prints, bookmarks, stickers and my comic ^^

Boy of all the Blades

 And here we have the latest Heavenly Body all done and primped up for you lovelies!

 There will be bookmarks of him, and the official Heavenly body available this Saturday at Höyryn Joulumarkkinat in Steam Hellsinki bar from 13-18! This will be a very limited run, but hopefully evryone who desires one will have their wish fulfilled.

Exhibition and Pakanalliset Syysmessut

Just a quick reminder to all of you Finnish people that the Tikkurila exhibition is open until Saturday the 9th!

The exhibition is open!

The exhibition is officially open! Welcome everyone ^^The originals will be up on display until the 9th of September!
 In other great news, I will be sharing a table with the wonderful Rikkisu in the Zinefest of Helsinki Comics festival on the first weekend of September! I'll see if I can cook up something small and shenanigan-y for the event~ More information will be shared closer to the event.

Worldcon is just about here!

Worldcon begins in a few days! Me & my pal Pihlajatar will be sharing table numbered M2 and marked on the map in the Creators' Alley on Friday, Saturday and Sunday! The sellers change a bit everyday, so there's plenty to see on the alley every day!

 The opening hours of the hall are:

Friday 10 - 18

Saturday 10 - 18

Sunday 10 - 15

 And remember! You don't need a membership to visit the Trader Hall & Creators' Alley! Everyone can come! For the time being this will be my last confirmed event that I will be in, so if you want to see my stuff live, now's the last chance (for now)

...And then there is new art :'D

This started out as a joke in my sketchbook, but then I wanted to make an actually bookmark about it. I mean, everyone needs a little cheering up&on from time to time, I know I do. This little guy does it for you sevenfold.

I have a whole bunch these planned, but it might take a while for them to get done, seems like my traditional post-comic depression has finally caught up with me, and I get absolutely nothing done. This one took me weeks D’: So please don't expect too much of me in the next few weeks, I need gather my pieces from the floor and try to assemble them into a human being again.

Some sketches

 I've been role-playing and doodling quite a lot during this summer! Here are some of the silly doodles I sketch while we've been playing~

 Upper left corner has my new Eldar Corsair character from a Rogue Trader campaign, Shiranui Chitaira. Beneath him is me brand new jackdaw bard-boy Kurama and his best pals Dr. Mlemmiwinks a doge cleric and Uss aka Lord Hissington, a yuan-ti fighter. The whole campaign is just a clusterfuck of tomfoolery and idiocy, and I love it to bits!

 Upper right corner has Marune from my comic, I'm trying redesign their face, for they have a set of horns on their head and I can't get them to work like I want to. Still, I think this is a pretty nice picture of them. And below is my hissymissy-Severan being the angry young man he is.

My first set of postcards fresh off the printers! They’re printed on 300g/m2 cardstock and have an exquisite matte finish~ You just need to touch them to understand the height of sublime the surface possesses~~~

Stockholm International Comic Festival!

Greetings from Stockholm, we had a great weekend! Thank you all who visited our table, and hopefully we'll see again next year, too.

Spring and Summer Annoucements

First of all, my seminar paper is done and submitted for reviewing! Yay! Now there’s like a week of fooling around before all that other shit I need to get done.

 So, I started drawing Severan and Ananthe, my two rather new characters from an original setting of mine. Severan is a young, brazen (read: stupid) and moody meat-eater elf , with a bit of cat in his blood. He is also a reiteration of my old Dark Heresy character, but way less like Kanda. Like totes.
 Ananthe (right in the picture) is far older and wiser, half and half of a regular elf and a meat-eater elf. He and Severan have a complicated relationship which has a lot of Ananthe being pretty fed up with Severan’s bullshit, like in this picture.

 Then, for the summer~ I will be attending several events this summer!

• I will try my wings at a new event, the Dark Market of Lumous Gothic Festival on the 15th of July in Tampere! There's no entrance fee to this event, so if you're in Tampere come say hi to me~
• Then there's of course the course on Manga I will be teaching in Joutseno straight after Lumous.
• I've also booked a table from Ropecon (28th-30th July, Helsinki) this year too, so you will find me in the dealers' den, again!
• Me and my partner in crime, Pihlajatar, also got a table from Creators' Alley in Worldcon 9th-13th of August

So far these are the confirmed events that I will be attending, I'll keep you posted about new ones as I confirm participation~

 Don't forget that next weekend I will be in the Comics festival of Stockholm! If you happen to be there, do come say hi ^^

AND, my exhibition is open until 17th of May, so five days left if you want to see it! Thank you all who have already visited the exhibition, I loved reading the guestbook when I popped in last week!

Spring Announcements!

First, thank you all you who came to say hi in Tampere Kuplii, you made my weekend <3

Then, to the other things! My next con will be the Stockholm International Comics Festival in May! My first con abroad, very exciting! If you happen to be around, please come say hi! I will be sharing a table with Rikkis in the Small Press Expo.

But before that I will have a small exhibition of originals for the Feather&Scale graphic novel! I will have more info on that soon, so stay tuned~

And lastly, something not so nice. My nemesis, the Finnish Post Office will rise their prices yet again in the beginning of April. Therefore, all of you who haven’t yet gotten my graphic novel from the webshop, you should hurry before everything gets worse. I put both the graphic novel and our colouring booklet on sale, just for you lovelies ;> Thank you for all your support so far!
